Choosing
a Realtor Takes Careful Consideration...
As an experienced Realtor, I know that the key to
success in real estate is excellent service. My dedication
to my clients through honesty, integrity, and loyalty
along with hard work has made me successful. I am
a licensed Realtor and a member of the Portland Metropolitan
Association of Realtors, Oregon Association of Realtors
and National Association of Realtors.
As a buyer´s agent, I don't "sell" you
properties. I listen to your needs and wants, and
then I find the home you desire and assist your purchase
at the best possible price and terms.
As a seller´s agent, I have proven that I get
results for my sellers through hard work, knowledge
and state of the art marketing tools.
My goal is to help you buy or sell your home in the
easiest way possible. Most of my business is referral
or repeat clients, and most of these clients have
become good friends. Additionally, I am a certified
e-Pro Internet Professional, New Construction Specialist
and a relocation consultant.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Portland,
Oregon is a beautiful area in the Willamette Valley
with the Pacific Coast Range to the west and the
majestic Cascade Mountains to the east. It is filled
with friendly, wonderful people from all over the
world most of whom have come here to work in technology
and related industries. Portland has been my home
for over 30 years and in real estate for twelve years.
I am very knowledgeable about the area and it´s
unique qualities.
I have been married since 1974 to my wife, Carol,
and we have two grown sons. I have a wide variety
of experience and background in education and business.
I served in the United States Marine Corps with a
combat tour in Viet Nam. After my military service,
I earned a B.S. degree in Education from Portland
State University, and a MEd. from Lewis and Clark
College. After a very satisfying career in Special
Education, I became President of Compute Able Network,
which was a private consulting company in technology
for persons with disabilities. In that capacity I
traveled extensively throughout the world. In 1989
I expanded the company to include software development
of an operating systems exchange. I left the high
tech sector in 1992 and went into real estate with
Century 21 Realtors. In 1997 I founded Oak Realty
Co. where I served as the principal broker. In 2005
Oak Realty became on of the first 100 franchises
of the Avalar Real Estate Network. Andi Peck
and I are co-owners of Avalar Oregon Realty. Same
people, with a better opportunity for our company
and our agents.
