About Me

I am an Oregon Native. I have been married since 1974 to my wife, Carol, and we have two grown sons. I have a wide variety of experience and background in education and business. I served in the United States Marine Corps with a combat tour in Viet Nam. After my military service, I earned both a B.S. and Masters degrees in Education from Portland State University, and a MEd. in Special Education from Lewis and Clark College in Portland. After a very satisfying career in Special Education, I became President of Compute Able Network, which was a private consulting company in technology for persons with disabilities. In that capacity I traveled extensively throughout the world. I left the high tech sector in 1992 and went into real estate. In 1997 I started my own real estate firm I am the principal broker/owner.

I am an avid recreational tennis player competing on and captaining several teams each year. I am also a tennis official for the United States Tennis Association officiating juniors, college and adult matches.

I am active in my church leadership as an Elder and serving on a variety leadership teams. When my sons were in junior and senior high I served as a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America.

I love traveling, tennis, gardening, tennis and woodworking. (and, oh, did I mention tennis?).
